2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
Content you create: Work stories, interview notes, question bank entries, resume text, and other content you enter into the app.
Usage data: Basic analytics about how you use the app (pages visited, features used) via Vercel Analytics.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the interview preparation service and generate AI-powered questions and answers
- To store and sync your stories, questions, and interview data across sessions
- To improve the product and fix bugs using anonymised usage analytics
- To send product-related emails if you opt in (we do not send marketing emails without consent)
4. AI Processing
Content you enter (work stories, job descriptions, resume text) is sent to AI providers (Google Gemini or OpenAI) to generate interview questions and suggested answers. This content is processed per the respective providers' data policies. We do not use your content to train AI models.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS infrastructure. Access is protected by Row-Level Security — only you can read or modify your own data. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.
6. Third-Party Services
- Google OAuth — for authentication
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
- Google Gemini / OpenAI — AI question and answer generation
- Vercel — hosting and analytics
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual stories, questions, and interviews at any time from within the app. To request full account deletion and removal of all associated data, contact us at the email below.
